Homemade Sorbet April 10, 2012

Filed under: My Recipes — kariryerson @ 8:16 am

Our local grocery store sells presliced fruit. If it doesn’t sell within a day they mark it half off. This is the time when I buy it. It is still good for a couple days. After we eat what we want, I like to make the rest into sorbet. Its super simple and yummy.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups sliced fruit
  • 1/2 cup water (more if your fruit isn’t juicy)
  • 2 tbsp sweetner (honey, sugar, agave) or more if your fruit isn’t sweet
  • Juice of one lemon or lime

Directions:

Place all items in the blender and blend for 4-5 minutes until smooth

Pour into a container and freeze

Scoop and eat (yes the one I have in the blender is different than the one in this pic)
