Our local grocery store sells presliced fruit. If it doesn’t sell within a day they mark it half off. This is the time when I buy it. It is still good for a couple days. After we eat what we want, I like to make the rest into sorbet. Its super simple and yummy.
- 4 cups sliced fruit
- 1/2 cup water (more if your fruit isn’t juicy)
- 2 tbsp sweetner (honey, sugar, agave) or more if your fruit isn’t sweet
- Juice of one lemon or lime
Place all items in the blender and blend for 4-5 minutes until smooth
Pour into a container and freeze
